This superb pierced silver butter dish bear the marks of Robert William Jay - Jay's - . Of generous size, the sides pierced with exquisite lattice designs and raised on four fleur-de-lys capped feet. The dish flanked by elegant pierced lug handles and fitted with its original frosted glass liners.
Completed by an unusual and ingenious prionged silevr butter knife by Barker Brothers dated Birmingham 1931
